AMENDING THE SEWER ENTERPRISE FUND OPERATING AND
CAPITAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2018-19
WHEREAS, on June 6, 2017, the City Council did adopt the Operating and Capital
Budget representing the financial plan for conducting the affairs of the City of Alameda
for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2018 and ending June 30, 2019; and
WHEREAS, staff is proposing that the Sewer Enterprise Fund (602) appropriations
for Transfers Out be increased by $477,942 and the Sewer Capital Improvements Fund
(602.3) (Project No. 99502602) Transfers In and appropriations be increased by $477,942
each; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the report and recommendations of
the City Manager on the budget amendment and has determined that the budget
amendment is both fair and appropriate; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has given this budget due consideration as to its
projected revenues, anticipated expenditures and available fund balances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Alameda
that budget amendment for Fiscal Year 2018-19 is approved for the Sewer Enterprise
Fund by increasing Transfer Out appropriations by $477,942, and for the Sewer Capital
Improvements Enterprise Fund by increasing Transfers In and expenses appropriations
by $477,942 each.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting
assembled on the 41h day of September 2018, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Ezzy Ashcraft, Matarrese, Oddie, Vella and
Mayor Spencer — 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
