Resolution 15440CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION N0.15440 AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2018-19 BASE REUSE FUND BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE $50,000 FOR THE FAQADE GRANT PROGRAM WHEREAS, on June 19, 2018, the City Council did adopt a Mid-Cycle Budget representing the financial plan for conducting the affairs of the City of Alameda for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2018 and ending June 30, 2019; and WHEREAS, staff reviewed and determined that use of Base Reuse Fund monies is consistent with the allowable activities as listed in the conveyance agreement with the Navy and qualifies under the Building Rehabilitation use category; and WHEREAS, staff is proposing that Base Reuse Fund expenditure appropriations be increased by $50,000 from available fund balance in order to provide additional funding for fagade grants; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the report and recommendations of the Interim City Manager on the reasons for the budget amendment and has determined that the budget amendment is both fair and appropriate; and WHEREAS, this budget ensures that the City of Alameda has exercised prudent judgment in its fiduciary responsibility as guardian of the public tax dollars. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that a budget amendment to the City's Base Reuse Fund Fiscal Year 2018-19 Budget is approved to increase expenditure appropriations by $50,000 in order to provide additional funding for the fagade grant program within Alameda Point. ****** I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the 16th day of October 2018, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Ezzy Ashcraft, Matarrese, Oddie, Vella and Mayor Spencer-5.
