APPOINTING WENDI POULSON AS TRUSTEE OF THE ALAMEDA
COUNTY MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda appoints one member to the Alameda
County Mosquito Abatement District Board every two years; and
WHEREAS, Wendi Poulson was interviewed and appointed by Mayor Spencer to
represent the City of Alameda on the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District Board
in November 2015; and
WHEREAS, Wendi Poulson is currently in her second reappointment and is serving
as Vice President of the Board
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA THAT Wendi
Poulson be, and she is hereby, appointed as a member of the Board of Trustees of the
Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District, to represent the City of Alameda, for her
third two-year term beginning January 2, 2020 and ending January 1, 2022; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to
the Board of Trustees of the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting
assembled on the 17th day of December 2019, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, Knox White, Oddie, Vella and
Mayor Ezzy Ashcraft — 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
