Resolution 15667CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 15667 ESTABLISHING APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2020-21 WHEREAS, pursuant to Article XIIIB of the Constitution of the State of California, the City Council of the City of Alameda is required to establish an appropriations limit for Fiscal Year (FY) 2020-21; and WHEREAS, the Appropriations Limit has been determined in accordance with uniform guidelines for Article XI liB of the California Constitution; and WHEREAS, the voters approved Proposition 111 in June 1990, which allows for new adjustment formulas for the appropriations limit calculation that is responsive to local growth issues; and WHEREAS, the adjustment factors used to arrive at the FY 2020-21 limit are as follows: County Population increase of 0.37%; Cost of Living increase of 3. 73% NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that said Council hereby establishes the Appropriations Limit in the amount of $135,121 ,678 for FY 2020-21 . * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the 16th day of June 2020, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, Knox White, Oddie, Vella and Mayor Ezzy Ashcraft-5.
