CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 15717
AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2020-21 CAPITAL BUDGET BY
REDUCING REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE APPROPRIATIONS IN
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM 91811 BY $328,524 AND
INCREASING REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE APPROPRIATIONS
FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM 96011 BY $328,524
WHEREAS, $200,000 budget for the contract is included in the Public Works
Department Capital Improvement Program (CIP) (Project 96011) approved in the Fiscal
Year (FY) 2019-21 Capital Budget; and
WHEREAS, for calendar year 2020, staff has designed maintenance plans and
safety improvements at 131 identified intersections that will require a total of $337,843 in
total funding; and
WHEREAS, beginning with the FY17-19 Capital Budget, the City established an
annual Capital Budget category to methodically refresh and replace pavement markings
throughout the City (CIP Project 91811); and
WHEREAS, staff proposes to reallocate the remaining balance of $328,524 from
CIP 91811, FY17-19 Signs, Curb Painting, and Pavement Markings to CIP 96011, FY19-
21 Signs, Curb Painting, and Pavement Markings.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Alameda amend the FY 2020-21 Capital Budget by fully defunding the revenue and
appropriations in the FY17-19 Signs, Curb Painting, and Pavement Markings (91811), by
approximately $328,524 and increasing revenue and appropriations for FY19-21 Signs,
Curb Painting, and Pavement Markings (CIP 96011) by an equal amount, approximately
$328,524.
