AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2019-21 CAPITAL BUDGET BY
REDUCING REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE APPROPRIATIONS IN
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM 91812 BY $779,448 AND
INCREASING REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE APPROPRIATIONS FOR
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM 96012 BY $779,448
WHEREAS, the Traffic Signals and Calming Systems Capital Improvement
Program (CIP) 918,12 approved in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2017-19 Capital Budget has an
available budget of $779,448 as of March 11, 2021; and
WHEREAS, to purchase traffic signal equipment in calendar year 2021, additional
funds are needed; and
WHEREAS, staff proposes to reallocate $788,885 from CIP 91812, FY17-19
Traffic Signal and Calming Systems to CIP 96012, FY19-21 Traffic Signals and Systems.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Alameda
amend the FY 2020-21 Capital Budget by fully defunding the revenue and appropriations
in the FY17-19 Traffic Signals and Calming Systems (91812), by approximately $749,448
and increasing revenue and appropriations for FY19-21 Traffic Signals and Systems (CIP
96012) by an equal amount, approximately $779,448.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting
assembled on the 6th day of April, 2021, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, Herrera Spencer, Knox White,
Vella and Mayor Ezzy Ashcraft — 5.
NOES: None.

ABSTENTIONS: None.
