AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2020-21 PROJECT BUDGET BY
REDUCING REVENUE AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THE ENTERPRISE
RESOURCE PLANNING SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION PROJECT 90002704
BY $360,000 AND INCREASING REVENUE AND APPROPRIATIONS FOR
THE STRATEGIC TECHNOLOGY PLAN PROJECT 90003704 BY $360,000
WHEREAS, the ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING ("ERP") Implementation
Project 90002704 approved in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2017-18 ERP Implementation Project
Budget has an available budget of $2,736,889 as of March 8, 2021; and
WHEREAS, staff proposes to increase the Strategic Technology Plan Projects fund in
FY 2020-21 to support Council priorities such as the Smart City Master Plan and move
forward with the implementation of the Geospatial Information System (GIS) enterprise
solution; and
WHEREAS, in FY 2018-19, a budget transfer in the amount of $500,000 reallocated
funds from the Strategic Technology Plan Project 90003704 to the ERP Implementation
Project 90002704. With the reduction in travel expenses during the pandemic, the ERP
Implementation Project will not be using the estimated travel expenses for the ERP
implementation project; and
WHEREAS, staff proposes to reallocate $360,000 from the ERP Implementation
Project 90002704 to the Strategic Technology Plan Project 90003704 as follows:

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Alameda hereby
amends the FY 2020-21 Project Budget by reducing revenue and appropriations in the ERP
System Implementation Project fund (90002704), by $360,000 and increasing revenue and
appropriations for the Strategic Technology Plan Project fund (900037904) by $360,000.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled
on the 20th day of April 2021, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, Herrera Spencer, Knox White, Vella
and Mayor Ezzy Ashcraft — 5.
