W-1-ITEITHEAS,1 the State of California, through its Department of Public Works,
Division of Highways, has presented a First Supple7ental Temorandun of Agreement,
in accordance with a project statement submitted by the City for expenditures of
the 1/4 cent gas tax for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1948, allocated for streets
of major importance other than State highways, in the City of Alameda; and
WHESEAS, the City Council has heard ioad said agreement in full and is
familiar with the contents thereof;
NO& TIFAIVEFOHEA BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CCUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
said project statement be, and it is hereby, adopted as the budget of proposed
expenKtures of the 1/4 cent ,as tax al2ocated for streets of major importance
other than State highways, and said First Supp2emental Yemorandan,of Qreement be,
and the same is hereby, approved, and the Rayor and the City Clerk are directed
to slSn the same on behalf of said City, said agreement to be bindinE upon tho
City upon its execution by the authorized officials of the State.
