counties for the purpose of defraying not to exceed one-half the cost of acquir-
ing rights-of-way or sites for public wosts projects determined to be desirable
In postwar public Works proSramh of such Local Agencies; and
THEREASS the City of Alameda desires to submit its requent for State aid
in the acquisition of a vight-of-way or site under said Act; and

AHEREAS5 said City has mado provisions for paying one-half or more of
the cost of such acquisition;

said request for acquisiticn aid to the Postwar Public Uarks Beview Board for t0��
Statu's share of the cost of such acquisMon; and

estimated cost to be paid for the acquiJtion of thn Vght-of-way or site for whIM
it is rnqinn stlng aid under said Act is 110,550.; and
BE TT PURTHE'll, that said City hereby requests thState to pay
the State's share of the total cost to be maid for the acquisition „.iceor whinh said
City in requesting aid; and

Milian, City ManaSer of the City of Alameda, be, and he is hereby, designated as
the authorized agelt of said City and is hereby authorized and directed to sign the
herein mentioned request on behalf of said City and to submit the same to the Post-
war Public Torks Review Board, together with a certified statement of the total cCtst
to be paid for the acquisition of the herein mentioned riSht-of-way or site and such
other information as may be required; and said authorized agent is further author-
Ized and directed as the representative of said City to conduct all neZotiations and
conclude all arrangements, including submission to the Director of Finance of appli-
cations for paynont, which may be necessary to secure paym,ent of the State's share
of the cost of the acquisition of tho aforementioned right-cf-way or site.
