APPROVING FORM AND AUTHORIZIUG EXECUTION OF CONTRAUT

TUBERCULOSIS CONTACT CASES.
in order to promote the public health and sanitation of the City
of Alameda, ana in order to prevent the spread of tuberculosis and to place tuber-
culosis as an intectious disease under control, it is necessary that examination be
made of persons who have cone in contact in the family and ooh eivise with known
cases of tuberculosis; and
WEEEEAS, the County of Alameda maintains a clinic whereby through its
health officer, deputies and assitants, and with its equipment and facilities
such examinations can be made; and

nations throuSh its health clinic and its said health officer at the rate of Q'1.00
per examination; and
it is in the public interest and the interost of econouT that

the City of Alameda contract with the County of Alameda for the rendition of sucIn
health service;
KOWY THEREFORE9 EE !T RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the form of nontract to be entered into by and between the County of Alameda,
and the City of Alameda, submitted to the Council and filed with the City Clerk
cf the City of Alameda this day, and the terms, agreements and provisions thereof
be, and the same are hereby, approved.
RESOLVED PURTHER, that the Wyor of thn City of Alameda be, and he is
heieby, authorized and directed to executo, and the City Clerk to attest, on behalf
cf the City of Alameda, a contract oubstantially in the form and containing the
covenants, aCreements and provisions set forth in the aforesaid :fora of contract.
