and Provisions for furnishing to the City of Alameda one (1) belt recording ma-
chine with voice operated relay to Drovide continuous nonitoring of police two-
way transmissions, ro. MS 11-47-26, filed in the office of the City Clerk on
November 4. 19472 be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock F. 1. on Tuesday, the 13th day of No-
vember, 1947, for the furnishing to the City of one (1) belt recording machine
with voice operated relay to provide continuous monitoring of police two-way
transmissions, ,_ n accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must
be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Ha3l Alameda, California, under
sealed cover and plainly marked on the outhle'. "Proposal for Belt Recording
Machine," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. Tho rQht is reserved to roject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times -
Star a notice callinE for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this,
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
