RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
for furnishing 20 -foot light center pendant type street lighting standards to the
City of Alameda, Igo® MS 1-43-1, filed in the office of the City Clerk on January
6, 1948P be, and the sane are hereby, approved and adopted.

,,SOLVED,, PURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 3:05 otclock P. M. on Tuesday, the 20th dal of
January, 1943, for the furnishing to the City of 20 -foot light center pendant
type street lighting standards, in accordance with said Specifications. Bids
most be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under
sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for 20 -foot Light Center
Pendant Type Street Lighting Standards," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times -
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular moeting assembled on the 6th day of January, 1943, by,the following
vote, to wit:
(4). AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Osborn, Sweeney and President Branscheid,
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman iones, (1).
