RESOLVED IBYf TIHIE COTJI�CIL OF T1Li,,' CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishinS three (3) new, 1948 two -door sedans and/or busi-
ness coupes to the City of ilameda, for the Health Department, Teo® IS 4-48-7,
filed in the office of the City Clerk on April 20, 1948, be, and the same are
hereby, approved and adopted®
RESOLV1P,D FURTHER9 that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. L. on Tuesday, the 4th of May, 1948,
for the furnishing to the City of three (3) new, 1948 two -door sedans and/or
business coupes in accordance with said SDecifications and Provisions. Bids must
be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under
sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for three two -door
sedans and/or business coupes", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of
the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder wllt.o submits the lowest and
best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Tires
Qatar, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting asseabled on the 20th day of April, 1948, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
3ranscheid, (5).
hOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
