COMPANY, A CORPORATION, OF CERTAIN REAL WOPERTY
AND CONSEITlEG TO THE RECORDATION T1H1PQ-E0F
WHSREA6, a certain indenture dated the 4th day of June, 1948, made by
and between Loop Lumber & Aill KmDany, a corporation, as party of the first part,

and the City of Alameda, a municipal corporation, as party of the secondpart,
was, on or about said date, executed and delivered by said grantor to the said
City of Alameda; and
WHEREASP by said indenture said grantor granted to the City of Alameda
all that certain real property situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda,
State of California, and bounded and described as follows, too wit:
BEGINNIRG at thenortheast corner of the intersection of
Blanding Avenue with Broadway as shown on "Map of Blocks
At B, C, D, E and F of the Hays and Caperton Tract, Alameda",
surveyed in hove mer 1885 by W. F. Board= and filed november
6, 1885 and of record in Lap Book 4, Page 26, an the office
of the County Recorder of Alameda County; thence running
northeasterly along the easterly line of Broadway 294.53 feet;
thence continuing along the said line produced northeasterly
30.1 feet to the center line of HarrisoE Avenue abandoned;
thence southwesterly along the centur line of the above men-
tioned Harrison Avenue 80.24 feet to a point in the westerly
line of 3roadway produced northeasterly; thence southwesterly
Kong the west line of Broadwao produced as above 30.1 feet
to the southwest corner of Broadway and Harrison Avenue
abandoned; thence continuing southwesterly &8.23 feet along
the westerly line of Broadway to the northwest oorner of the
intersection of Broadway and BlandinS Avenue; thence south-
euaturly along the northerly line of 31anding Avenue 80 feet
to tie northeast corner of the intersection of 3roadway and
31anding Avenue, the point of beginning.
