the Southern Pacific Company, a corporation of the State of
Delaware, and its Lessor, Central Pacific Railway Campany, a corporation of the
State of Utah, have submitted a form of Street or Highway Agreement covering
easement for a strip of land required by the City at the railroad crossing on
Buena Vista Avenue near Everett Street; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that said Agreement should be
NON THEREFORE, 3E IT II COLV D BY TIE COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF ALAYEDA
that said Street or Highway Agreement between the Southern Pacific Company, a
corporation of the State of Delaware, and its Lessor, Central Pacific Railway
Company, a corporation of the State of Utah, and the City of Alameda, a munici-
pal corporation of the State of California, be entered into, and that the Hayor
of the City of Alameda be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute
said Agreement on behalf of the City of Alameda, and the City Clerk is authorized
to attest the same.
12 the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 29th day of June, 1948, by the
following vote, to wit:
(4). AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Osborn, Sweeney and President Branscheid,
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Jones, (1).
