ACCEPTIEG PUBLIC IMPROVEHENTS = SUBDIVIS1014
AS TRACT 110. 782 ArD RELEASING LIABILITY UNDER

MLEREAS, on September 13, 1946, Roberts Enterprises, a corporation
entered into a contract with the City of Alameda in connection with the sub-'
division of Tract No. 782; and
dARIAS, the Council of the City of Alameda authorized the City
Manager of the City.of la coda to enter into a contract between the City of
Alameda and said Subdivider for the construction ohe f timprovements speci-
fically shown on the "Tentative Jap of Proposed Subdivision, Tract 782; and

said Subdivider requested permission to postpone the im-
provements proposed to be constructed in said Tract 782 to a time subsequent
to the acceptance of the rival map of said subdivision; and
NAEREAS, in consideration of said postponement, said Subdivider did
asree to, and did, file with the City of Alameda a surety company bond in the
penal sum of 00,000.00, being the estimated cost of such improvements, and
Guaranteeing the faithful performance of the terms and conditions of said
agreement, and also of the requirements contained in Ordinance No. 700, hevi
Series; and

BE IT REJOLVED 3Y THE COTU1,',CIL OF THE, CITT OF
that said City does hereby accept the dedication of the public streets referred
to in said contract and shown on the tentative nap and the final map of said
Tract ho. 782.
BE IT YURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda does
hereby release said Subdivider, and its surety, from any further liability under
said 430,000.00 surety bond, filed with the City of Alameda, guaranteeing the
faithful performance of said contract.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing aesolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Coimcil of the City of Alameda
in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 29th day of June, 1948, by the
following vote, to wit:
