VV[J.E'��EAS the State of California through its Department of Public Works,
Division of?Highways, has submitted an Agreement for Maintenance of State Highway
in the City of Alameda during the fiscal year beginning july 1, 1948, and ending
june 30, 1949; and
IW1111,'HEAS, the City Council has heard read said agreement in full and is
familiar with the contents thereof; and
executed;
WHEREASP it is in the publ,ic intarest that said agreement should be

that said Agreerent for Maintenance of State Nighway in the City oP Alamoda be
entered into, and that the Mayor of the City of Alameda be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of the City of Alameda,
and that City Clerk is authorized to attest the same.
I$ the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of My, lKS, by the following
