NAEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 1286 New Series,the City of Alameda sold to the Alaska
Packers ASSOCiaLion approximanly 22.3 acres of land, the purchase price payment for which was
secured by a Deed of Crusu and Promissory NoLe dated December 1, 1958; andl
WHEREAS, the final payment in accordance wiLh Lhe terms of said promissory note was made
by the purchaser on November 1, 1962; and
WHEREAS, all obligations of Lbe purchaser under the connact of sale dated December 1,
1958, have been Fully performed;
NOW THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the City Clerk
is hereby directed to deliver to LheTrustee, for purposes of canceltation, the aforesaid Deed of
Crust and Promissory Note, and the Mayor is hereby directed Lo request, pursuant Lo the terms of
said Deed of Trust, that the Trustee execute a reconveyance Lo the purchaser, Alaska Packers
Association.
1, Lhe undersigned, hereby certify QaL the foregoing Resoluuion was duty and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the= City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on Lhe
200 day of November, 1962, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen GodFrey, McCall, Rose, Schacht and President Collischona, (5).
ABSENI: None.
