ABENEAS, John U. Pickrell and joseph A. Fickrell, a copartnership,
dohng business as john H. Pickroll & Son, have applied to the City of Alameda
for approval of their final amp for the subdivision of Tract 854 and
WHELKS, said copartnership has requested the Gity of Alumeda to
authorize it to perform certain major improvemon-Ls in connoction with said
subdivision at a time subsequont to the approval of the final map of said sub --
division at a t1mo subsequent tc the approv& of the final map of said sub-
dKision; and
WnEnNASI the City of Alameda believes that it will be to the advantage,
and benefit of the City of Alameda to have said work performed; and
W1EREAS9 a form of agreement containing the stipulations and airee-
ments to be stipulated and aEreed upon by and bot -ween the Q-ty of Alameda and
said copartnership, covering Me said construction work, has been prepared and
submitted to Lhis Council at its regular meeting held August 27, 1948, and
ordered filed with `,.ho Cit; Clerh of said City;

THat bhe forn of agreement referred to in the preamble hereof and the
terms, covenants, agreemenLs and provisions thereof be, and the same arc hereby,
approved.
That the said agreement be entered into, and thaL the City Manager of
the City of k1amoda be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to exacuto said
agreement on behalf of Lhe City of Alameda, and the ULLS Clark is authorized to
attest the same.
