TRANSFERRING $50,000.00 FROI�: THE IN LIEU TAX
FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF ALA1,1EDA,
WHEREAS, certain moneys have been deposited in the In Lieu Tax Fund,
pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No. 2887, adopted by this Council on
July 6, 1943; and
WHEREAS, the sum of $50,000.00 has been expended from the General
Fund of the City for the purposes authorized in the Act referred to in said
resolution No. 2887, namely, for law enforcement and the regulation and control
and fire protection of highway traffic in the City of Alameda;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALA11EDA
that the sum of $50,000.00 be, and the same is hereby, transferred from the In
Lieu Tax Fund to the General Fund of the City of Alameda.
The Auditor and the Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to
make said transfer on their respective books.
I. the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of October, 1948, by the following
vote, to wit:

Branscheid, (5).
