Provisicns for furnishing one (1) new 1949 two -door 6 or 8 cylinder sedan automobile
(to replace wrecked Police car) to the City of Alameda, for the Mice Department,
ro. KS 11-40-13Y filed in the office of the City Clerk on Novenler 3, 1948, be, and
the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock 1. M. on Tuosday, November 16, 1948,
for the furnishinE to the City of one (1) now, 1949 two -door 6 or 0 cylinder sedan
automobile, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be
presented to the City Clerk, in the City Fall, Alameda, California, under sealed
cover and plainly marhod on the outside, "Proposal for Two -door Sedan," or similar
desiSnat-1-an .
Contract if awarded, will be awarded,s , ubject to the provisions of the
Charter of saidlity, tc the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. The righL is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advevt1se, in the Alameda Times -Star,
a intice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions.
