and Provisions for furnishing one (1) now 1049 Station WaSon to the City of Alameda,
for the Recreation Department, to replace 1941 Chevrolet Staoion Wagon, No. MS
-1-48-1% filed in the cffice of the City Clerk on Noveynber 3, 1948, be, and the
same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED ITHTEER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock S. Y. on Tuesday, Eovember 16, 1240,
for the furnishin; to the City of one (1) new 1949 Station WaZon, in accordance
with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the Clt-,;
Clerk, in the Cltv Hall' 1, LlC:Lzal.edC+l"a., Califonnia, under " sealed cover and plainly
narked on the outhde, "Proposal for Station Wagon, or similar desl3nation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to t provisicns of
the Charter of snid City, to the responsible bidder uho submits the lowest and
best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times -
Star, a notice calls rE for snaled bids, in accordance with the provisions of this
insolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
