WHEREAS, a certain option of purchase of realproperty dated the 30th day
of Septernilber, 1948, made by and between Calestina Cosso, a widow, as party of the
first part, and thm City of Alameda, a municipal corporation, as paity of the second
part, was, on or about said date, executed and delivered by said Cele stina Cosso to
the City of Alameda; and
S by said option said Celestina 'Cos o, a widow, granted to the City
of Alaneda an option to purchase all that certain real property situated in the said
City of Mameda, and more particularly described in said option, on condition thnt
said option be exercised by the said Qtj of Alameda on or before October 1, 1249;
