WKEREkS, it is desirablc and in the public interest that certain
property owned by the City of z1ameda be dedicated to public use for public
street and highway purposes, said property being situated in the City of
Alameda, County of Alaneda, State of California, and more particularly
described as follows:
A PORTION of Lot 24 in Section 17 of Township 2 South, RanEe 3 West,
according to the Map entitled, "Map No. 2 of Salt Harsh and Tide Lands
situate in the County of Alameda, State of California", filed in hte
office of the Surveyor General of the State of California, bounded as
follows:
To find the point of beginninE, start at the intersection of the
center line of Liberty !venue and Garfield Avenue, as said Avenues
are shown on the "Amended Map of Tract 782", filed May 11, 1948, In
the office of the County Recorder of Alaieda County, and of record in
Map Book 16, at paFe 28; thence South 410 00t West along the proposed
extension of Garfield nvenue 142.CC feet to the point of beginnin-7;
thence North 480 30t West 25.00 feet to a point; thence Soub 410-00,
East 200.41 feet to a point In the hesterly boundary of Lot 24; thence
due South 42.67 feet to a point in the center line of tho proposer:1
