provisions of krticle X of the Charter of the City of Alameda, and upon nomina-
tion of the Mayor, Henry Lewis Mathewson is herebyappointed to the office of
member of the Social Service ?card of the City of Alameda for a term expiring
on June 30, 1951, and to serve until his successor is appointed and is qualified.
