RESOLUTION NO. 3901
AUTHORIZING CITY PHYSICIAN OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
TO SIGN ON BEHALF OF TI -FE CITY OF ALAMEDA TREASURY
DEPARTMENT FORM 1447, APPLICATION AND BASIC PERMIT
TO USE ALCOHOL FREE OF TAX, ETC., AND TREASURY
DEPARTMENT FORM 1450, APPLICATION FOR PERMIT TO
PROCURE ALCOHOL FREE OF TAX, AND OTHER REqJIRED
MONTHLY REPORTS
WHEREAS, the First Aid Department of the City of Alameda deems it
necessary to obtain tax free alcohol and is applying to the United States Treasury
Department for a permit to procure and to use alcohol free of tax; and
VFHEREAS, James F. Brady is the City Physician of the City of Alameda and
is in charge of the First Aid Department of the City of Alameda;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESCLVED BY THE COUICIL OF T1 -1:E CITY OF ALAY=.,`� that
the City Physician be, and he is hereby, authorized to sign on behalf of said City
of Alameda Treasury Department Form 1447, entitled, Application for Permit to Use
Tax -Free Alcohol, and Treasury Department Form 1450, entitled, Application for
Permit to Procure Alcohol Free of Tax;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said City Physician be, and he is hereby,
authorized to sign on behalf of the City of Alameda such other and further reports
as may from time to time be required under and pursuant to the basic permit cover-
ing the use of tax free alcohol.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of December, 1948, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Branscheid, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
