CALLING FOR BIDS ON SALE OF !ATROVELEIT BONDS

RESOLVVD1 by the City Council of the City of Alameda, California, that
1. The City Clerk of said City be, and he is hereby, directed to call
for bids for the sale at public auction of improvement bonds to be issued pursuant
to Resolutioh of Intention No. 3817 adopted by said Council on September 7, 1948,
said bids to be received by said City Clerk at or before the hour of 8:00 o'clock
P. M. of Tuesday, the 15th day of February, 1949, and to be publicly opened, ex-
amined and declared at said time at the regular meeting place of said Council,
Council Ckambers, City Hall, Alameda, California. Said notice, in form a copy
of which is hereto attached marked Exhibit "A", shall be given by publication
once in the Alameda -Times Star, a newspaper published and circulated in said City,
at least ten days before said date.
2. The City Council will furnish the legal opinion of the law firm of
Kirkbride, Wilson, Sutton, Harzfeld & Wallace, San Mateo, CaliforLia, unquali-
fiedly approving the legality of the proceedings and the issuance of said bonds.

Council of the City of Alameda, at a neeting thereof duly held on the 18th day
of January, 1949, by the following vote:
