MEWS, certain moneys have been deposited in the in Lieu Tax Fund,
pursuant to tLe provisions of Resolution No. 2687, adopted by tLis Council an
July 6, 1943; and

Yund of the City for the purposes authorized in the Act referred to in said
Resclution No. 2887, namely, for law enforcement and the regulation and control
and fire protection of highway traffic in the City of Alameda;

that the sum of $63,000.00 be, and the same is hereby, transferred from the In
Lieu Tax Fund to the General Fund of the City of Alameda.
The Auditor and the Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to
make said transfer on their respective books.
