E a certaiL indenture dated the 10th day of January, 1949,
made by and betwoun Alameda City Land Company, a corporation, as porty of thE,
first part, and jity, of Alameda, a municipal corporation, as party of the
second part, was, on or about said date, executed and delivered by said party
of the first part to the City of llaneda; and
by said indenture,
the grantor therein named qranted to the
City of Alameda a permanent easement and right of way to at any time, or fror'l
tims to time, constrict, maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew an under-
ground sanitary sewer in, through, under and along that certain piece or strip
of land in the City of Alaneda, County of ilameda, State of California, and
.lore particulurly described in said Grant of Easement; and
WHERE,S, the City of llameda did, on the 18th day of january, 1949,
accept said conveyance, and acquired possession of the said easement in the
said real property;

shat the aforamentioaed indenture be, and the same is horeby, accepted on
behalf of Me City of Alameda, and said City Council, acting for and in bet alf
of said City, herobj consents to the recordation of said indenture and ordurs
this resolution to be attached thereto, as required by Section 1158 of the
Civil Code of tae State of California.
