ACCEPTING OPT10H OF PURCHASE OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FRO11,1 LEIT11A FOSTER, A WIDOW, AND
COMENTIAG TO THEMECORDATIGR THIREOF
a certain option of purchase of real property dated the 11th
day of january, 1949, made by and between Le itha Foster, a widow, as party of
the first part, and the City of Alameda, a municipal corporation, as party of
the second part, was, on or about said date, executed. and delivered by said
heitha Foster, a widow, to the City of Alase-da; and
MEREAS5 by said option said Leitha Foster, a widow, Sranted to the
City, of Alameda, an option to parchase all that certain real property situated
in the said City, of Alameda, and more papticularly described in said option,
on cundition that said option be exercised by the said City of Alameda on or
before January 12, 1950; and
WHEREAS) the said City of Alameda did, on or about said date, accept
said option;

that the aforementioned Option be, and the same is hereby, accepted on behalf
of the City of Aiameda, anu said City Council, acting for and on behalf of said
City, hereby consents tc the recordation of said Option and orders this resolu-
tion to be attacked thereto, as required by 3oction 1.158 of the Civil Gode of
the State of California.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
daiy and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regalar meeting assembled on the 18th day of january, 1949, by the following
