as Times -Star Building, situated at the southeast cornor of Oak troot and Tines
Way, in the it of hiameda, at a monthly rental of 11,130.00; and
WHEREAS9 a form of Loase containing the torms and conditions to be agreed
upon between the City of Alameda and said Kofman Land Conpany, Tnc., a corporation,
and more particularly deocribing the space to be leased, has boon prepared and sub-
mitted to this Council at its regular meeting held on Fobruary 1, 1049, and marked
"Piled Feb. 11 1949;
NOW9 T101UE10RE, BE !T RESOLVED BY TUS COUNCIL UP THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
'the, 1,11ayor of said City be, and he is hereby, authorized and d1ractod to execute,
and the City Clerk to attest, on behalf of the City, a lease substantially in the
form and containing the terms and conditions set forth in the aofinsaid form of
lease.
