Motion 1. The position of "Senior Stenographer -Clerk" is hereby created,
and establislaed in the City Hall Department of the City of Alameda.
Section 2. The duties of Une, position of Senior Stcnogra3hor-Clork, and
of the person holding such position, shall be as follows:
To take and transcribe difficult or technical dictation; to perform typ-
ing and clorical duties involving independent discrotion and responsibility; to
serve as secretary to the head of a major division or departnent; and to do related
work as required or directed.
Section 3. The salary for the position of Senior Stenographer -Clerk be,
and is hereby, fixed as follows:
For the first year, 5200.00 per month;
For the socond year, .0215.00 por month;
For the third and subsequent
years, P230.00 per month.
