EREAS, public interest and necessity require the restoration of LcRinley
Park, the complete restoration of fences, turf, bleachers and appurtenLnces, and
incidental work pertaining thereto; and
the City Engineer has prepared Qecifications, Special Provisions

and Plans for said work, which Specifications and Irovisions are numbered PA 2-49-4
and were filed in the office of the City Clerk of said My on 7ebruary 15, 1949;
hOW THEREFORE, 3E IT RESOLVED 3Y THE COUNCIL 01F THE CIT4,' OF 1,LI'lld'�i�D111 that
the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as
aforesaid, be, and tLe same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FUETHER) that the performance and completion of the work speci-
fied in said Specifications and krovisions be, and the same is hereby, authorized.
RESOLVED) F0Z71EER) that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 6:05 o'clock P.L., on Tuesday, larck 1, 1949, for
the furnishinZ to the City of Alameda of all labor, materials, methods and processes,
implements, tools and machiLery, except as otherwise specified, necessary for the
work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions.

under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside "Proposal for Restoration of
lcLinley Park, Complete Restoration of 2ences, Turf, 31eachers and 1ppurtenances",
or similar desianation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject cc the provisions of the
Charter of the My of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest
and best bid. The right is reserved to re1ject any or all oids.
Said specifications and provisions may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City ingineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda,
Galifornia.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the niameda Times -Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions.

and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in reSu-
lar meeting assembled on the 15th day of Yebruary, 1949, by the following vote, to
