RESOLUTION NO. 4003
ACCEPTING CONVEYANCE FROM ERNEST S. BCWMER AND EFFIE
G. BOWMER, HIS WIFE, AND EMILY E. MacKENZIE (MARRIED),
OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY Al%',D CONSENTING TO 'IRS
RECORDATION TBEREOF.,,
WHEREAS, a certain deed, dated the 25th day of April, 1949, made by and
between Ernest S. Bowmer and Effie G. Bowmer, his wife, and Emily E. MacKenzie
(married), grantors, and the City of Alameda, a municipal corporation, was, on or
about said date, executed and delivered by said grantors to the said City of Alameda
and
WHEREAS, by said deed said grantors granted to the City of Alameda all
that certain real property situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State
of California, and more particularly described in said deed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY CF ALAMEDA that
the aforementioned deed be, and the same is hereby, accepted on behalf of the City
of Alameda,
and
said City Council,
acting for
and in
behalf of said
City,
hereby
consents to
the
recordation of said
deed and
orders
this resolution
to be
attached
thereto, as required by Section 1158 of the Civil Code of the State of California.
I$ the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd day of May, 1242, by thefollowing vote,
to wit.
(4). AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Osborn, Sweeney and President Branscheid,
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Jones, (1).
