the following described real property situated in the City of
J'�laiaeda, County of Alameda, State of California, to wit:
S line of Enc final Avenue .890 feet E from Post Street;
thence E 73-57 feet S 58 30" W 89.79 feet W 46.67
feet N 85.67 feet to beginning, as shown on 1951-52
tax bill No. 136 of the City of Alameda (23--AB19 ,
has been assessed heretofore for city purposes for the fiscul year 1951-1952
and the taxes levied thereon in the sum oh $14.19 are uncollected and unpaid;
and
after the time sait taxes became a lien on said real property,
to -wit, on October 15, 1951, said real property was, by Deed recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of 11ameda County on October 15, 1951, in Book 6559 of
Official Records, at paEo 245, acquired, and ever since has been, and now is, owned
by the City of Alameda, and has been and now is being used for public purposes, and,
because of suck public ownership is not subject to sale for delinquent taxes;

with the written consent of the City Attorney attached hereto, thct all uncollected
taxes charged or levied for city purposes upon the aforesaid real property, to-
gether with penalties and costs thereon, be, and the same ere hereby, cancelled, and
the Auditor and Tax Collector of the City of Alameda are hereby authorized and
directed to cancel the same on their respective books.

withstanding, that this resolution and order shall not be construed as cancelling,
or authorizing the cancellation of, any special assessment taxes levied against said
real property by the City of Alameda pursuaLt to the provisions of the "Acquisition
and improvement Act of 1925".
