AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE OF OFFICIALS OF THE CITY Q
ALAMEDA AT THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THEAMERVAN
PUNIC I PAL A*qOqTATIO--NT TO BE HELD AT WASHINGTON, D.C.,
AND APP-ROPRTA'TTNG FUNDS TTIHE'FIFIFOIR
WHEREAS, the Annual Conference of the American Municipal Association
will be held in Washington, D. C., on December 10, 11 and 12, 1951; and
WHEREAS, the Council deems it necessary and proper and for the benefit
of the City of Alameda that officials of the City shall attend said Conference;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that Mayor Frank P. Osborn and Councilman S. Chesley Anderson be, and they are
hereby, authorized to attend said Annual Conference of the American Municipal
Association at Washington, D. C.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the sum of not to exceed $1200.00 be,
and the same is hereby, appropriated from Account 70-b, for the purpose of
paying the expenses of said officials to attend said Conference.
19 the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 6th day of November, 1951, by the following
vote, to -wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Branscheid, jones, Sweeney and President
Osborn, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
