Resolution 04499RESOLUTION NO. 4499 ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THREE TEMPORARY EqUIPMENT SHELTERS, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIBECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME WHEFEAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provi- sions and Plans for the construction of three (3) temporary equipment shalters, for Civil Defense, which are numbered PW 11-51-17 and were filed in the office of the City Clerk on November 20, 1951; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, .numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. M. on Tuesday, December 4, 1951, for the furnishing to the City of Alameda of all labor, materials, methods and process es, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accord- ance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside Proposal for Three Temporary Equipment Shelters", or similar designation. Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times - Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions. Il the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of November 1951, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Branscheid, Jones, Sweeney and President Osborn, (5).
