The position of "Police Officer -Chief Radio Officer" in the Police Department be, and the same -is hereby abolished. Section 2. The position of "Chief Radio Technician" is hereby created and established in the .City Hall Department. Section 3. lie position hereby created is defined as follows: The Chief Radio Technician shall, under direction, supervise and direct the activities of the radio communications system; assume full responsibility for the technical. operation to conform with regulations of Federal Communications Commission; perform, installation, maintenance and repair work; and do other related work as required. Section 4. The salary for the position of Chief Radio Technician in, the City Hall. Department shall be, and is hereby, fixed at $393.50 per month. Section 5. The provisions of this resolution shall supersede those portions of Pesolution0o. 4404 and of any other resolution in conflict herewith, and all such conflicting provisions are, to the extent of such conflict only, hereby rescinded and annulled.
