WHEREAS, a certain indenture dated the !Gth day of November, 1051, made
by and between The Regents of the University of California, a corporatlon,, and
City of Alameda, a municipal corporation, was, on or about said date, executed
and delivered by said ,e eats of the University of California to the City; and
O'HT S by said indenture said Tne Regents of the University of Calif-
ornia granted to the City of Alameda a permanent easement and riFht of way to at
any tine, or from tine to tine, construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and
renew underground storm and/or sanitary sewers in, through, under and along that
piece, strip or parcc3 of land situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda,
State of California, and more particularly described in said indenture; and
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda did, on the 4th day of December, 1951,
accept said conveyance and acquired possession of the said easQment in the said
real property-,

that the aforementioned indenture be, and the same is hereby, accepted on behalf
of the City of Alameda, and said City Council, acting for and in behalf of said
C10, hereby consents to the recordation of said indenture and orders this reso-
lution to be attached thereto, as required by Section 27281 of the Government
Code of the State of California.

duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 4th day of December, 1951, by the following
