RESOLVED BY THA COUECIL OY THE CITY C7 1, EAC that the Specifications
and Provisions for fuonishing to the City of Alameda one (1) main radio station
transmitter on 155.61 megacycles, with accessories, for the Police, Department,
Cao® 12-51-22, filed in the office of the City Clerk on December 18, 1951, be,
and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
EESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 otclock F. M. on Wednesday, January 2, 1952,
for the furnishing to the City of one (1) main radio station transmitter on 155.61
megacycles, with accessories, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions.
Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda,, Calirornia,
under sealed cover and plainly marked on the catside, "Proposal for main radio
station transmitter", or similar designution.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who sAhmits the lowest and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times -
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
15 the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of December, 1951, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Bransc`ieid, Jones, Sweeney and President
Osborn, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT; None.
