RESOLUTION NO. 4512
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE
CITY OF ALAYEDA THREE (3) FREQUENCY MCDULATED
I'AICBILI] RADIO UNITS IN 152-162 M. C. BAND, FOR
POLICE DEPARTMENT, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTIING
CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SATME
RESOLVED DY THE COUNCIL OF THEE, CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for-furnishAng three (3) frequency modulated mobile radio units in
152-162 M. C. Band, to the City of Alameda, for the Police Department, No. MS
12-51-231 filed -in the office of the City Clerk on December 18, 1951, be, and the
same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05)P, M., on Wednesday, January 2, 1952, for the
furnishing to the City of three (3 frequency modulated mobile radio units in
152-162 M. C. Band, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions.. Rids
must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under
sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for frequency modulated
mobile radio units". or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
7 -ie, City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times -
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I. the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council -of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of December, 1951, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Andorson, Branscheid, Jones, Sweeney and President
Osborn, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
