RESOLVED BY TIF COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AL: VEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing five (5) frequency nodulated mobile radio units in.
152-162 m. c. band, to the City of Alameda, for the Fire Department, No. - MS
12-51-249 filed in the office of the City Clerk on December 13, 1951, be, and the
same is hereby, approved and adopted.
E,',SOLVEDI� FUETHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 otclock P. M. on Wednesday, January 2, 1952,
for the furnishing to -the City of five (5) frequency modulated mobile radio units
in 152-162 m. c. band, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. -
Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California,
under sealed cover and plainly mnrked on the outside, "Proposal for Frequency
Modulated Mobile Radio Units". or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times -
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I. the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and reZularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of December, 1951, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Branscheid, Jones, Sweeney and President
Osborn, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
