CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE SAME
RESOLVED BY THE CCTTTCIL OF THE CITY OF AIAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing three unit, tractor propelled, hydraulically operated.
gang mower, with pneumatic tires to the City of Alameda, for the Park'Department,
No. YS 12-51-26, filed in the office of the City Clerk on December 18, 1951, be,
and the same are hereby, approved and adopted®
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alansda will receive
scaled bids up to the hour of 8:05 P0., on Wednesday, January 2, 1952, for the
furnishing to the City of three unit, tractor propelled, hydraulically operated
gang mower, in accordance with said Specifications and'Prov isions. Bids must be
presented to the City Clerk, in the "Wit''y 'Proposal.
Alameda, California, under sealed
cover and n plainly marked othe outside, Proposal for three unit gang mower", or
similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times -
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I$ the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of December, 1951, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Council.,,ien Anderson, Bivanscheid, Jones, Sweeney and President
Osborn, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None .
