101HEREAS, public interest and necessity require the construction of
sanitary and storm sewers to connect Alameda Is Sewer System to the East Bay
Municipal Utility District Sanitary Interceptor ® Unit III; and
1AFHE.FiEAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Pro-
visions and Plans for said work, which are numbered FA 12-51-19 and were filed
in the office of the City Clerk on Decenber 10, 1951;

same are hereby,
approved
and adopted.
RESOLVED, TURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work
specified in said Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby,
authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. M., on Vednesday, January 2, 1952,
for the furnishing to the City of Alameda of all labor, materials, methods and
processes, tools and equipment necessary for the work heneinabove referred to,
in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to
the City Clerk, in the City Hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and

Contract, if awarded; will be awarded subject to the provisicns of the

and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda,
California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda limes®
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
IP the undersigned, hereby certl_fy that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meoting assembled on the 18th day of December, 1951, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Branscheid, Jones, Sweeney and President
Osborn, (5).
NOES: None.
