MUITICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT, SPECIAL DISTRICT NO. 1
PERVESSION TO CONSTRUCT UNDERGROUND PT,,!PING PLANT NEAR
NORT_'9EAST CORNER OF CLEIvENT AVENUE AND GRAND STREET
WIEPEA S, the East Bay Municipal Utility District has requested per-
mission to construct an undlerround pumping plant within the'sidevi-jalk area at
rrm
a point coencing twenty (205, feet north of the northeast corner of Clement
Av;nue and Grand Street, in the City of Alameda, said pumping plant to be used
In connection with the Alameda interceptor of the East Bay sewage disposal
project; and
17HE'REASY it appears to be to the best interest of the City of Alameda
that such permission begranted;
NOW THEREFOR;, BE IT RESOIN71D BY THE COUN=L OF THE CITY OF AEA��mDA
that the EastBay Municipal Utility District be, and is hereby granted per-
mission to construct the aforementioned underground'pumping plant near the
northeast corner of Clement Avenue and Grand Streetl said construction to be
in conformity with East Bay Municipal Utility District, Special District No. 1,
Drawing No. A-35, which drawing is hereby referred to and by such reference
made a part hereof.
BE IT FUR RESOLIJED that Resolution No. 4506 adopted by the Council.
of the City of Alameda on December 4, 1951, is hereby rescinded.
