ACCEPTING GRANT OF EASEMENT FROM HELEN RATTO, LENA
COTELLA, COLOMBA PARODI AND GEORGE A. TESTO, FOR
SEWER PURPOSES, AND CONSENTING TO RECOTDATION THEREOF
WHEREAS, a certain indenture dated the 12th day of March, 1952, made
by an between Helen Ratto, Lena Cotella, Colomba Parodi and George A. Tesio,
also known as George Tesic,-Grantors, and City of Alameda, a municipal,cor-
poration, Grantee, was, on or about said date, executed and delivered by said
Grantors to the City of Alameda; and
WHEEEAS, by said indenture, the grantors granted to the City of Alameda
a permanent easement and right of way to at any time, or from time to time,
construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew underground sanitary
sewers and/or storm drains in, through, under and along a strip or parcel of land
situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, and more
particularly described in said indenture; and
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda did, on the 18th day of March, 1952, accept
said conveyance and acquired possession of the said easement in the said real
property;
NOVI THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the aforementioned indenture be, and the same is hereby, accepted on behalf
of the City of Alameda, and the said City Council, acting for and in behalf of
said City, hereby consents to the recordation of said indenture and oreders this
resolution to be attached thereto, as required by Section 27281 of the Govern-
ment Code of the State of California.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of March, 1952, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Branscheid, Sweeney and President
Osborn, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Jones, (1).
