ALANTDA ONE (1) NEW, LATEST MODEL 3/4 -TON PICKUP, TRUCK,
6 OR 8 CYLINDERS, CALLING FOR BIDS AWDIRECTIQ QITY
CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and
.revisions for furnishing to the City of Alameda one (1) new, latest model, 3/4 -ton
pickup truck, 6 or 3 cylinders, No. MS 4-52-4, filed in. the office of the City Clerk
on April 1, 19529 be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLSED, FURT17,ER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 P.M., on Tuesday, April 15, 1952, for the
furnishing to the City of one (1) new, latest model 3/4 -ton pickup truck, 6 or 8
cylinders, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be
presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, Calif ornia,,under sealed
cover and plainly marked on the outside, '"Proposal for 3/4 -ton Pickup Truck", or
similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Tines -Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolutican
and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I. the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the lst day of April, 1952, by the following vote,,
to wit:
AYES: Councilnen Anderson, Branscheid, Jones, Sweeney and President
Csborn, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
