WHEREAS, the County of Alameda, City of Alameda, City of Albany, City
of Berkeley, Town of Emeryville, City of Hayward, City of Livermore, City of
Oakland, City of Piedmont, Town of Pleasanton, City of San Leandro, Alvarado
County Fire Protection District, Ashland County Fire Projection District, Castro
Valley County Fire Protection District, Centerville County Fire Protection District,
Irvington County Fire Protection District, Yission San Jose County Fire Protection
District, Redwood County Fire Protection District, Warm,Springs County Fire
Protection District, Cherryland Fire Protection District, Decoto Fire Protection
District, Fairview Fire Protection District, Hayward Highlands Fire Protection
District, YMulford Gardens Fire Protection District, Neward Fire Protection District,
Niles Fire Protection District, Tennyson Fire Protection District and San Loranzo
Village Volunteer Fire Department have reached agreement concerning the matter of
mutual aid in the use of the fire fighting equipment belonging to said County,
Cities, Towns and Fire Protection Districts in time of disaster of such magnitude
that theire-fightIng equipment of any of said ;over. ental agencies is inade-
quate to cope with such disaster, which agreement has heretofore been submitted
to the Council of the City of Alameda and has been approved by said Council; and
WHE'FEAS,, it is deemed that the best interests of the City of Alameda
will be served by its becoming a party to such agreement;

that the City Manauer is authorized and directed to execute such agreement or,
behalf of the City of Alameda and the City Clerk to attest the same.

duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 1st day of April, 1952, by the following vote,
