TMiEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Pro-
visions aLd Plans for furnishing and installing a 2411 store; iiiater ptrap and
auxiliary equipment at an existing storm water pumping plant, which are numbered
P5 2-52-3 and were filed in the office of the City Clerk on Way 6, 1952;

the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as
aforesaid, be, and tine sane are hereby approved and adopted.
il!;SOLV-ED2 l'ti1;.T11ER, that the performance and completion of the work
specified in said Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is Lereby au-
thorized.
AMULVAD, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. L. on Tuesday, Yay 20, 1952, for
the furnishing to the City of Alameda of all labor, materials, methods and pro-
cesses, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in
accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. 3ids must be presented to the
City Clerk, in tAe City Hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and
plainly marked on the outside "Proposal for the Installation of a 24" Storm
4ater Pump", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be aVarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who suomits the lowest
and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his Mice in the City Hall, Alaneda,
Gaiifornia.
The Gity jierk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alamo& Times -
Star, a notice callinZ for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of
this resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
