Provisions and Plans for the installation of house laterals from the street
laterals to the property line, and other work appurtenant thereto, for the fiscal.
year ending June 30, 1953, which Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans are
numbered PW 5-52-5 and were filed with the City Clerk of the City of Alameda on
May 20, 1952;

that the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and
filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work
specified in said Specifications and Pro7islons be, and the same is hereby,
authorized.

I that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. M. on Wednesday, June 4, 1952, for
the furnishing to the City of all labor, material, machinery, tools and equipment
necessary for the installation of house laterals and other work appurtenant
thereto, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1953, in accordance with said Speci-
fications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City
Hall, in Alameda, California. under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for Installation of House laterals", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who subnits the 1cwest and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alaneda,
California.
The City Clork is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alamoda Times -
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.

duly and regularly introduced aid adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda In
regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of May, 1952, by the following vote, to
wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Sweeney and President Osborn, (3),
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmen Drnnschnid and Jones, (2).
